ELABO, known for its customised workstation designs and assembly and testing systems in industrial production, has chosen MICHEL ITC to optimise its "primus two" workstation system. The result of this collaboration is an innovative, user-friendly solution that sets new standards in terms of functionality, quality, ergonomics and design.

The two complete HMI solutions from MICHEL ITC, which were developed for ELABO's "primus two", are not only outstanding in their functionality, but also in their design. They offer a modern, clean front design thanks to tempered, customised printed glass and a smart disappearing effect. The technological expertise is also reflected in the excellent readability of the displays: thanks to optical bonding and two high-brightness displays (a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 4.3-inch touchscreen), information is clearly recognisable at all times, even in bright sunlight. These HMI units are mounted using robust metal plates with threaded mounting bolts, which not only enable easy installation but also provide additional protection.

In addition, MICHEL ITC was responsible for the design, development and delivery of the prototypes through to series production of the HMI units.

The result of this collaboration was presented at Productronica 2023 in Munich, where it aroused great interest as a remarkable innovation in the field of electrical laboratory workstations.
