Roundtable enters its fifth round – exchange, outlook and new ideas

The event kicked off with a delicious barbecue lunch prepared by our in-house MICHEL ITC grill master Adi Röthlisberger, who created the perfect atmosphere with his delicious specialities. The relaxed setting provided an opportunity for networking, exchanging ideas and catching up with each other.
Where do we stand in terms of sustainability – and where do we want to go?
After lunch, the programme began with an assessment of the current situation regarding sustainability: what challenges do participants currently see and what steps are already being taken?
Despite the many current economic and geopolitical challenges, it was clear that sustainability remains a key concern for all those present. Individual priorities may differ, but there was a clear shared awareness and willingness to actively promote sustainable solutions.
Digital solutions for a circular future
In the second part of the afternoon, Rolf Michel provided an in-depth insight into the world of the digital product passport / rating plate (DPP). It became clear that the DPP is much more than just a buzzword; it is a real step towards digitalisation, transparency and circularity. In particular, in conjunction with our web-based AIRdBBASE solution, it opens up new opportunities for making product life cycles traceable and establishing sustainable processes within companies.
The subsequent discussion among the participants was intense, practical and once again demonstrated how relevant and forward-looking the topic is.
New faces, new connections
We were particularly pleased to welcome two new participants to this edition. This is a strong sign that our roundtable format is appreciated and actively used. In addition to the professional exchange, valuable connections and new ideas were once again formed that will have an impact far beyond the day itself.
We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and are already looking forward to the next roundtable!
