Complete visibility thanks to optical bonding

Bonding the display to the front glass or the touch unit kills several ‘birds’ with one stone.
Advantages of optical bonding
The invisible, full-surface adhesive fills the air gap between the glass and the display. This reduces light reflections and ensures a clear view of the display, even in bright surroundings. The unit is even more touch-sensitive. Furthermore, filling the air gap prevents the ingress of dirt and moisture and equalises stresses.
Thanks to the composite structure, the unit acts like safety glass and, in the event of vandalism, does not shatter into a thousand pieces but remains intact as a single unit. Optical bonding is carried out using the vacuum bonding process, i.e. without subjecting the components to temperature or pressure stresses.

Advantages of Frame Bonding
If the requirements are slightly less stringent (e.g. for indoor use), we offer the more cost-effective frame bonding option. This process is also carried out in a cleanroom; however, the display is bonded to the glass only at the edge, outside the visible area. This also prevents the ingress of dirt and moisture.
Added value thanks to the elimination of interfaces
Purchase the front glass or the touch unit, including the display, as a complete assembly. We take care of the procurement, assembly and quality assurance of the individual components for you. Your benefit: eliminated interfaces and simplified processes.
