SSL encryption

This site uses for purposes of security and to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as for example, the requests that you send to us as website operator, an SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection when the address line of the browser changes from http:// to https:// and a lock symbol appears in your browser line.

If the SSL encryption is activated, the data that you send us cannot be read by third parties.

Contact form

When you send us queries by a contact form, your details on the request form including the contact details provided by you there including the IP address shall be saved for the purpose of processing the query and for follow-up questions. This data shall not be passed on without your consent.

Use of Cookies

The internet sites use the so-called Cookies to some extent. These enable making our offer more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small test files that are archived on your computer and that save your browser. Most of the Cookies used by us are the so-called “Session Cookies”. Data protection declaration for using Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses the so-called “Cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer and which enable an analysis of your usage of this website. The information generated by the Cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. In case of activating the IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address from Google is however previously reduced within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes and uses data relating to the use of map functions by visitors. Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites we embed Youtube videos. Operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. This will tell Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged in to your Youtube account, Youtube can personally assign your surfing behavior to you. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.

If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies which collect information about the user behaviour. If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Privacy policy for the use of GoogleAds

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an advertisement placed by Google, GoogleAds places a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not personally identifiable. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was directed to that page. Each Google GoogleAds customer receives a different cookie. As a result, cookies cannot be tracked through GoogleAds customer websites. The information collected from the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for GoogleAds customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers will know the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse to set a cookie as required, for example by setting your browser to generally disable automatic cookie setting or by setting your browser to block cookies from the "googleleadservices.com" domain.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

MailChimp

The newsletter is sent by “MailChimp”, a newsletter distribution platform of the American vendor, Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The E-mail addresses of our newsletter subscribers as also its further data outlined as part of these instructions are saved on the MailChimp server in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our account. Furthermore, MailChimp can use this data according to its own information to optimize or improve its own services, for example, for the technical optimization of distribution and the presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes to determine which countries the subscribers come from. MailChimp however does not use the data of our newsletter subscribers to write to them on its own or to pass it on to third parties.

We rely on the reliability and IT as well as data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU “Privacy Shield” Data Protection Agreement and is thereby obligated to comply with the EU data protection guidelines. Furthermore, we have concluded a “Data Processing Agreement” with MailChimp. It is a contract, in which MailChimp is obligated to protect the data of our users, to process it on our account in accordance with its data protection regulations and particularly not to pass it on to third parties.
