Customized instead of standard - HMI solution for e-charging station

Actually, EVTEC had already clarified the procurement of the operating unit: Due to a lack of alternatives, a standard display supplier was to glue the glass fronts with a display. However, this would only have been possible in larger runs - a risk, especially at the beginning of the project. Fortunately, EVTEC received a MICHEL ITC newsletter at the right time. The topic: Optical bonding of glass with displays. And since MICHEL ITC produces customized solutions even in smaller quantities, the opportunity opened up for EVTEC to offer OEM variants of the control unit for their customers.

Thanks to its worldwide network of production partners and its own sourcing hub in Shanghai, MICHEL ITC was able to develop a customized solution for EVTEC in a very short time. And so, just five months later, EVTEC celebrated the rollout of the new "espresso&charge" charging station - with customized display fronts from MICHEL ITC. A record performance in terms of speed!
